"THE TOY" BY RAY AND CHARLES EAMES

In 1951 Ray and Charles Eames created "The Toy" for Sears, Roebuck and Co. Various colored panels and dowels allowed children to construct playhouses, tents, and imaginative structures. A smaller scaled version was produced in 1952 and sold in a hexagonal tube.
