Our 7,500 square foot showroom is located in the old Heinz manufacturing plant on Ashby Avenue in Berkeley, stocked with Danish and Scandinavian pieces from the 1950s and 60s that were built to outlast everything made since.
We started this out of genuine obsession. Our home is a 1967 round house in the Oakland Hills designed by architect Leon Meyer, furnished almost entirely from our own collection. It's not an aesthetic project. It's just how we live.
Open by appointment Wednesday through Friday, walk-ins welcome on Saturdays.
Sourced directly from Scandinavia.
Every piece of vintage inventory is hand-selected on buying trips to Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, England, Scotland, France, and Italy. No middlemen, no auction houses. Just knowing what to look for and going to find it.
The result is a collection that is genuinely of the era, well-made, and worth keeping. Designed to be used. Built to be admired.
"We want to live in an environment that engulfs us in the time period."Desiree, Co-founder
