How do I clean wool on tulip dining chairs?
Vacuum the seat with a soft brush attachment, then press a clean, damp cloth onto spills right away to lift them out. Rubbing only grinds the stain deeper into the wool, so leave stubborn marks to a professional upholsterer.
Will the pedestal base scratch hardwood floors?
It can. A wide, flat base spreads the weight, but grit trapped underneath acts like sandpaper and leaves fine scratches. Stick felt pads under the edge of the base and lift the chair when you move it, rather than dragging it across the boards. Check the pads every few months and replace any that have collected grit or worn thin.
Can I re-cover the seat in a different fabric?

How can I tell a genuine Knoll Tulip chair from a copy?
Flip a chair over and look for a Knoll label or stamp on the underside of the base. Copies often skip it, and their curves and finish look rougher up close.

All sales are final. We do not accept returns or offer any warranties on any vintage or new production item. Orders can be returned or cancelled within a 24-hour period from the initial sale time and date for a refund of the full purchase price. All returns made after 24 hours of the initial purchase date will receive store credit for the full value of the purchase price. Shipping
We offer white glove, in home delivery on all orders in the continental United States. For shipping quotes on items going to Hawaii and Alaska, or any international location, please contact us and we can guide you through your shipping options. We use a fully-insured white glove shipping service for the majority of our long distance shipping. After your order is picked up from our showroom, west coast deliveries will take approximately 2-3 weeks for delivery, while east coast deliveries will be closer to 4-6 weeks for delivery. For smaller items, we pack them ourselves and ship them via UPS Ground. All shipping orders will have a tracking number.
