The drawers hide linens and clothes, while the hutch keeps ceramics and favorite reads on display. Standing just over 6 feet tall, it takes up the floor space of one chest rather than two, and the warm teak looks good doing it.

How do I care for vintage teak?
Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe up spills fast. Dry-looking teak can take a little teak oil now and then, but skip it on lacquered surfaces, which need only a slightly damp cloth.
What should I store in each drawer?
In a 5 drawer chest, put heavy items like denim in the bottom drawers. Low weight keeps a tall piece steady. Put scarves and knits on top.
How do I check that a tall piece will fit?
Measure every doorway and stairwell the piece has to get through, plus your ceiling height and the wall where it will sit. Leave room in front for the drawers to open fully. Anchor tall storage to a wall stud, since a loaded 6-foot piece can tip.
How can I tell vintage from a reproduction?
When shopping for vintage European furniture, check the back and inside the drawers for a maker's stamp or label, and look at the wear. Softened edges and polished drawer pulls are harder to fake. Orders can be returned or cancelled within a 24-hour period from the initial sale time and date for a refund of the full purchase price. All returns made after 24 hours of the initial purchase date will receive store credit for the full value of the purchase price. We offer white glove, in home delivery on all orders in the continental United States. For shipping quotes on items going to Hawaii and Alaska, or any international location, please contact us and we can guide you through your shipping options. We use a fully-insured white glove shipping service for the majority of our long distance shipping. After your order is picked up from our showroom, west coast deliveries will take approximately 2-3 weeks for delivery, while east coast deliveries will be closer to 4-6 weeks for delivery. For smaller items, we pack them ourselves and ship them via UPS Ground. All shipping orders will have a tracking number.
