Poul Kjærholm
Poul Kjærholm (1929-1980) was a Danish furniture designer trained as a cabinetmaker who chose steel as his main material. His PK series, from the PK22 lounge chair to the PK80 daybed, pairs spring steel frames with leather, cane, wood and stone in strict, beautifully resolved forms. Fritz Hansen produces his designs today.
