Poul Henningsen
Poul Henningsen (1894-1967) was a Danish designer, writer and critic who changed how the world thinks about light. From the 1920s he worked with Louis Poulsen on multi-shade lamps that hide the bulb and spread a soft, glare-free light, leading to classics such as the PH 5 and the PH Artichoke. His lamps are still made to his original principles.
