Paul McCobb
Paul McCobb (1917-1969) was one of the leading American modernist designers of the 1950s. His Planner Group, produced by Winchendon Furniture Company in solid maple and birch, offered affordable modular pieces that could be mixed to suit any room, and it became one of the best-selling modern lines in the United States. His work is known for slim proportions, simple brass details and a clean, graphic look.
