N. Eilersen was founded in Denmark in 1895 by Niels Eilersen and is still run by the Eilersen family. In the 1950s and 60s it made celebrated teak and rosewood seating by Illum Wikkelsø, including the Capella series, and today it is known worldwide for its sofas.
