Ib Kofod Larsen

Ib Kofod-Larsen (1921–2003) studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and won the Cabinetmakers' Guild competition in 1948. He designed for many of Denmark's best makers, including Faarup Møbelfabrik, Selig and Christensen & Larsen, whose Elizabeth chair of 1956 was named after Queen Elizabeth II after she bought a pair. In England he designed the Danish range for G Plan, which made his name well known abroad.
