G Plan was launched in 1953 by E. Gomme Ltd of High Wycombe, England, as one of the first ranges of furniture sold piece by piece so a room could be built up over time. Its best known lines include the Danish Range by Ib Kofod-Larsen and the Fresco and Astro ranges by Victor B. Wilkins, in teak and afromosia.
